Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon
Biography:
Mr Bell is a fellowship-trained specialist knee surgeon. He completed his Orthopaedic surgical training in the West of Scotland before undertaking his fellowship training. He undertook knee fellowships in Melbourne, Australia, with Professor Julian Feller and Harrogate with Professor Nick London. In addition, he also completed the Edinburgh trauma fellowship.
He is a consultant in the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he performs unicompartmental and total knee replacements for the treatment of osteoarthritis as well as knee arthroscopic (key-hole surgery) and ligament reconstruction procedures for the treatment of knee sports injuries. He has a specialist trauma interest in complex knee trauma.
